RAIN Sheath™ Trans-radial Hydrophilic Thin-walled Introducer
Designed to reduce the risk of radial artery trauma and spasm.
ULTRA LOW PROFILE DESIGN
Same „6F in 5F“ concept as newer generation radial sheaths.
Outer diameter of the newer 6F sheath is the same as the older 5F sheath.
This concept applies to RAIN Sheath™ in the following sizes: 4F, 5F, 6F, 7F.
PROPRIETARY KINK RECOVERY TECHNOLOGY™:
Elastomeric properties enable RAIN sheath to maintain its atraumatic shape throughout
the procedure.
LUBRICIOUS HYDROPHILIC COATING
Facilitates smoother, easier insertion and removal.
HEXACUSPID HEMOSTASIS VALVE
Hexa-cuspid hemostasis valve. Designed to preserve hemostasis and reduce risk of
bleed-back
AVANTI™+ Catheter Sheath Introducer
For use in arterial and venous procedures requiring percutaneous introduction of
intravascular devices, the AVANTI™ + Introducer is a pioneer in catheter sheath
introducer technology. Featuring a unique Slix Valve, the AVANTI™+ Introducer
provides smooth transitions, monitoring capabilities and exceptional performance for
your procedural success.
• A hexacuspid design that provides a balance between catheter maneuverability and
hemostasis.
• A rotating suture collar that facilitates greater procedural flexibility. It provides
position stability and allows more patient movement.
• A kink-resistant cannula design integrating a soft, flexible inner layer with a stiffer
outer layer for improved bendability and support. It is also less prone to kinking,
cost-effective and reliable.
• Atraumatic tip transitions for both the sheath and the vessel dilator are uniquely
tapered and manicured. This results in smooth insertions and may help lessen damage
upon entry.

RAILWAY Sheathless Access System
The RAILWAY™ Sheathless Access System is indicated for use in radial arterial procedures requiring
percutaneous introduction of intravascular devices.
This Cordis device enables direct access to the radial artery with a guiding catheter and eliminates the need
for an introducer sheath, which reduces the size of the arterial puncture site up to 2F compared to a
conventional sheath system.
RAILWAY™ Sheathless Access System is compatible with Cordis 5F, 6F and 7F Guiding Catheters of any
shape, including dedicated radial shapes.
The device is optimized to fit either Cordis VISTA BRITE TIP™ or Cordis ADROIT™ Catheters with smooth
transitions from guidewire to dilator and dilator to guiding catheter.
